The Finnish National Champion has been selected
The Finnish Air Guitar Nationals were held on Saturday 27th of July at Valkeakoski, at “Työväen Musiikkitapahtuma” -festival.
Out of the five contestants, Jari “Jartsa” Koivisto won the final, scoring the highest by far and ensuring his spot on the final stage in Oulu. Along with the first Finnish Champion title and his air guitar, Jartsa got to take home a real prize guitar (“there guitar.”)
The final was hosted by the Finnish air guitarist Emma “Emmanuel Kant” Jäntti, who opened the contest by performing herself.
Even though the official fundraiser has ended, you can still donate money for the benefit of children’s and juvenile mental health services. The fundraiser was organized by final Työväen Musiikkitapahtuma and MIELI Mental Health Finland.
