The order of competition in the live Dark Horses is:

- String Theory
- Ichabod Fame
- Ehrwolf Van Airhoven
- The Beast Georgia Lunch
- French Kiss
- Lady Attila
- Guitarantula
- Lucky Luke
If any of these competitors would win a National title before the World Championships, a runner up will take their place. There are 5 more National Championships before Oulu events. The runner up will perform first in the live event.
The runner ups, in order, are: Yometen KD, Sven Spandex, Le Fille En Rouge, Shred Lasso, and Roxy Riffless.
3 Dark Horses will advance to the Finals, starting the show in reverse order of points from the Dark Horse round.
The National Champions will then perform, in an order that will be drafted live in Oulu.
