Kenya joins the AGWC network in 2022! Air Guitar Kenya’s mission is to support peace in Kenya by promoting playing Air Guitar, supporting music and film production amongst the youth in Kenya’s vulnerable communities. Our slogan is ”Piga Air Guitar, usipige Watu” which is Kiswahili for Beat the Air Guitar, Not People. This is especially important in 2022, because Kenya is holding crucial elections in August. We have already held our prequalification event, and our final event goes down at the Kenya National Theater on June 23, 2022.
